"ابو التهاب" is an Arabic kunya meaning father of inflammation or infection. Latin for "ignite," inflammation is an immune response triggered in the context of harmful stimuli causing pain, fever, swelling and ultimately preventing our bodies from functioning normally. Its often the first, painful step in the healing process. Here, the hope is to ignite discussion on issues that are causing local or systemic reactions - both medically and socially.
